It was about 3 days that my blood sugar wasn't normal.I tried everything but it didn't change.
Do you know what was the problem?
The insulin itself was the problem. The vial was depleted and I was using the last possible insulin which didn't have enough efficiency.

I havent had any suspected problem with the insulin pens as of yet… 5 years ago I had insulin resistance happening, then a doc had put me on the humalog and levimir..what a difference this new type of synthetic insulin does.

Same thing happened to me last week. The blood glucose was running very high. I switched to a new pen it it started to come down right away. My daibetic specialist told me that when the glucose readings run high he suspects 3 things in this order: insulin failure, equipment failure (pump, glucose meter) and lastly user failure.
