I just wanted to let everyone know that we made it from new Orleans to Seattle yesterday with no problems. I was worried about my insulin on the plane, but had no issues with that as well…my bg levels remained great!!!

The only issue I have now is that I went from 70 degrees to 20 degrees!!! BRRRRRRRRR

Blessed Be

I am so glad to hear you made it to Seattle ok. How about the cold weather. I hope your settling in is as easy as the move was. I love you and have missed chatting with you. I'm glad we're both back.

Love and Hugs,

Thanks everyone!!! We I have been doing great with the temp change…so far anyway…I am actually not in Seattle itself, but I am in Bellingham which is about an hour and a half north of Seattle…close to the Canadian border. This is where my family and I went after katrina wiped us out…

I do love it here, nature wize and family wise…it is just so beautiful here, and not nearly as many bugs!!!!

You are kind of close to me now. I live in Bothell, WA. Are you here to stay or are you visiting? Cara

Hi Vicki, I'm glad you made it to Seattle. You should be here in Wisconsin, right now at 10:00pm the temp is 7 degrees and it's snowing AGAIN. Yesterday the wind chills were in the -20 to -30 range (yes that is a minus sign lol) We must have thick skin here.

Don't miss the Pike Place Open Market in Seattle. It's the best open market in the country I'm told. Have fun and I'm so jealous. I've only been to Seattle once and it was in the airport LOL Didn't see a thing but that.

I'm glad to hear you got things worked out with your flight and the trip was safe and sound. Right now I would love to be in the 70 degree weather.

That is a huge change and unfortunately, it is going to stay that way for a while. You will love Seattle though. It is a great town.

I was there on my way to Alaska a few years ago and got to see Mt Ranier without clouds. I was told that is rare. It was a crystal clear sky and you could see the wind blowing the snow off the peak. I loved it. And if you enjoy nautre, you will love the forests of Oregon. They are like fairy forests and when the sun shines thru the canopy in beams of gold, you will know you are in a magical place.

Sorry, I am just so excited that you are there. You will have to post some pics of where you visit up there. Glad you are safe...stay warm!
