I have noticed that on my right ankle I have an area of red dots. My legs were hurting the other day from my walk and I was soaking in hot water and noticed that the are on my ankle is still there. At first I thought it was a rash but its been on my ankle for a few months. It doesn't hurt or itch. Does anyone else have this? Should I be concerned? My insurance will not kick in for another month and won't be able to see the doctor until then.

I have the same across both feet. I tend to have a lot of swelling from time to time and the red spots showed up after a real long swell. Almost looks like small drops of blood pools under the skin. I've shown my doctor but she had no answer.

Wow your doctor had no answer. I am worried. but my spots are there all the time but more noticeable when my feet swell. I hope by the time I get to my doctor its nothing serious, and that wont be for at least another month.

I am looking for a different doctor. My spots arrived over 6 months ago and never go away. There's almost a discoloration in that area but of course you can see it more if there's swelling-that's why I think it's blood pooling. No itching for me.

The last red dots that I had on my ankles were chigger bites, and went away in a week.
Do they itch?
I guess since yours have been on there for a month you should be a bit concerned.
I guess if I would have read your posting more clearly before posting this I would have read that it does not itch, so just ignore this.
