I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes 20 years ago! Today, I turned 65!!! WOW, time flew. Diabetes has been a relatively small part of my life. I eat a healthy diet, exercise a bit, pay attention to my blood glucose and simply enjoy life. Actually, what I'm trying to say is, my diabetes has been around so long, it's become a routine, that I barely notice. Any now, I think I'll go out and kick some butt today! Just kidding, but my wife really is taking me out to lunch though! Oh, I know what to eat, so I really don't have to think about it much.
