I think about food all the time.

I was just wondering if anyone else does this. Food is on my mind every minute I'm wake. It's not I am thinking and salivating over what I am going to eat next. I'm wondering what I can eat and how my blood sugar is going to interact with it. I was just wondering if any one has this or if I am just weird and it's just me. I'm just exhausted thinking about it all the time. Was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how I could change my thinking about this. Thanks,

I too think about food all the time. I know that I am an emotional eater. I look for something that has gone wrong so I can eat .I believe I think it justifies why I ate what I did. I know that it really doesn't. I have started not buying those tempting foods. I replaced them with fruits and veggies. I also drink a full glass of water when I want to go see what might be in the cupboard. But believe me I battle this all the time. If my family unloads their problems on me I blow my diet with all the food that my husband has brought home. So you see you are not alone.

I think about food all the time what I am preparing for breakfast lunch & dinner. it happens all the time with me also. maybe it is because subconsciously we are trying to maybe see how we can control our Diabetes and hoping for a good reading from our beloved meters, I have found when I find a meal that I really want to sit down and eat and enjoy it I don't go back for seconds and I am very satisified with my eating habits, You just have to prepare for what you really want and sit down and enjoy it. good luck.

Yep ben there done that,not fun!
Ok the first thing I did was learn how to count carbs ,it was a lot to take in but I got and the book the calorie king helped a lot .
For the food that was a hard one for me ,I love to eat and being a Chef didn't help much lol
I started Vaping and now don't crave sweets or snacks .
It gives me the tast that I need and tricks me to think I'm having a treat .
