Hello, I've been diabetic for little over a year now I have one finger when poked it will never bleed. I don't have cold fingers but to try to make it bleed I will rub my finger tip and run hot water over it, plus poke my finger 2 more times but no bleeding my other fingers bleed more then needed!

The same happens with me sometimes. It may be that the skin has just toughened as you have overused a certain finger. Try to use all instead of the typical one (I also do this- have ones I automatically prick). Also, might I suggest to moisturise at night so your holey fingers get a break!!

we all have that problem. with our fingers not wanting to bleed. Just use another finger. don't stress over it. live is to short to worry about a finger that does not want to bleed. Ruth Tinkerbell54
