Hello everyone!! I am not sure if all of you are aware or not, but over on their website they do have where you can list all of the medicines you are taking and they will send you updates for any and all drug interactions that may come up or that there may be for any of the medicines you are taking currently. I have found it very very helpful for me over the last few months since they Dr.'s have been taking me off this one and putting me on this one. I am back to being the dang Guinea Pig once again.

Anyway, I have found it to be a wonderful tool to be used and they do send updates to your email when they have information for you.

Just thought I would share that with everyone.

I now get all my maintenance drugs by mail order from Medco (don't pay a penny as it's part of my retirement insurance benefit) and they also provide this service. However, before I used Medco I got my prescriptions filled at Fred Meyers, a Pacific Northwest full-service superstore, that also knew what I was taking, and everytime I had either Gemfibrozil or Prevachol refilled the pharmacist was called over to the cashier's window to ask me if I experienced any muscle fatigue.

Just thought you all might like to know that Drugs.com has some new clinical trials for type 2 diabetics who are overweight. Along with other trials. Anyway, they are nation wide and if you want to get some free care and actually get some good conversation with health care providers, consider joining one. I found one that I am going to call on Monday to see if I am eligible.

I've had the opportunity to check out the site and it's wonderful. I put all of my meds into the database set up for me and not only found 7 of them that conflicted with each other, but was allowed a printout to show my doctor as well as a printout of all of my meds to carry in my wallet. Very good site.

I just did a general search, you can set up a personal profile? I will have to look into that. Very helpful, specially since my doctor really isn't.

I just this week was perscribed two new meds, so there is where I went to check it out. Before I got my scripts filled, I made sure there was nothing to make me have some kind of reaction. I also talked to my pharmisit about my supplements to make sure they were not going to mess with my new meds.

It is a very helpful and easy to use site.

Gabby, I have everything listed on my list there. Suppliments, pain meds, daily pills, my shot…everything. Even when I have had to take an antibiotice recently I have gone in there and added it until it was all gone and then went back in and taken it off.

I have found it to be a blessing in disguise for me actually. I research all my meds b4 I start taking them since I do have allergic reactions to some meds and I have such problems with migraines.

you are quite welcome and I wish you luck on your journey through the website. I do hope that it benefits you.
