I was just looking at the discussion that Cindy Riley started called "Is this a losing battle?"

I'm so impressed with all of you. Thank you all so much for your contributions to this site. That particular discussion is the perfect example of what we can all do when we come together to help. There's some great encouragement there. There is some great sympathy and understanding there. There is some great diet information and technical details about how to take care of this disease that has touched all our lives.

You all are making a difference. Each time you participate here, you help someone!

I honestly feel honored to be here with you.

I feel that this site and the people on it are lifesavers. I found it by mistake(a lucky one). My Dr was not giving me all the information I needed. I found out about Endos on this site and how to take my levels. I'm learning how to eat right too. I consider each and everyone of you as family now. One BIG family…Hmm we may have to do Holiday dinners in shifts LOL

Making a difference in our lives is what this site is all about.

Edie had touched my life by helping me to get motivated.
JMorris has inspired me with his kind words and his passion for kicking booty in teakwando.
Debe is amazing, and when you get to know her, all your troubles will seem as nothing, but she never complains...she is incredible.
JP is like my second mom. She looks out for me all the time.
KDroberts tells it to me straight and gets me thinking past what I thought to be all I needed to know.
Sparkysmom is one of my newest side kicks and we are just on the same page, and some days that comes in realy handy.
John C is like a dad to me in many ways. He has such compassion for what all of us face on a daily basis, he is truly my mentor.
Charrish will make me smile on the worst days, she is a beautiful soul.
Butterfly_8 Just makes me smile. I love her spirit and willingness to experiment with me.
Sheryl had opened new doors for me to explore and we have a lot of fun in our chats.
Toma is my rock. His advice and caring just fill me with wonder.
There are so many more who have touched my life here. I am truly greatful for each person here. Each brings a different ingredient to the mix, but together we make a pretty sweet pie. (made with less sugar and fresh fruits only. LOL)
Thanks to all of you for touching us in so many ways.

I have been looking for years for this site. I have had diabetes for approx. 14 years now and I never could discuss any of what I feel with any one.

Thank you for this gift.

I feel the same way as you do. I am honored to be here with everyone. I have been looking so long for a group that knows and shares what I am going through. We can all learn from each others experiences. I am just elated to be a member of this group.
