Hey guys! Im still fairly new to all this so forgive me for all the questions. Does anyone here have a rapid heart beat? Random I know.

Also I want to keep my feet in good shape. Is there a lotion that anyone can suggest? I use a lot of different ones but is there one that is for diabetics?

Hope everyone is doing well!! Its been a little over a year for me but I still have a lot to learn. Thanks for all your help :)

I use 100% Shea butter, as suggested by Joyce here. I ordered a tub on eBay, and believe me it goes a long way. It's not scented and I believe it was less than $10.

Thyroid conditions are very common with diabetics. I would suggest that you have yours checked out with your doctor (an endocrinologist ???). It is a very easy thing to treat, but can lead to big problems if ignored.
Been there, done that ! My rapid heartbeat was due to that.

The best product I've found is Gold Bond Ultimate healing foot therapy cream. It is designed for dry, rough, and cracked heels. Works great for me!

Something I use is pure cocoanut oil. I get virgin oil and it works so well on dry skin all over. It has a low melting point, just the warmth of your hand liquefies it. Who knew foot care would be so important.

I had a rapid heart beat which led to an enlarged heart. Lost almost 50lbs. Watch my carbs and have tried and liked new foods that are better for me. Avoid enriched white flour. I was on carvedidol (Coreg) which really kept my pulse in line. As I lost weight, my dosage was lowered. I haven't been on them for about a month but I check my Bp and pulse regularly at home. One Dr said I couldn't reverse the size of my heart. One said I could. I did. Weight loss and Coreg did it.

Hi Lelebell,

Nice to meet you. I am also fairly new in this, and it is quite scary. The good news is that there are a lot of pople like us, who are there to support us and understand us. I usually ask around for tips from people that have more experience than me. I found this website that gives great tips. Hope it helps http://asweetlife.org/tips/
