I'm from the uk so not sure what's available in your area but I am a podiatrist and I would recommend a urea based cream such as flexibility, it breaks the skin down to prevent callous build up and also moisturizers. Apply it at least once a day and the tip about the socks is good, just avoid putting any cream between your toes, surgical spirt is better fur there.

My Dr suggested Amlactin cream. I've used it for several years & does the truck for me. I put it on right after I shower.

Try getting exfoliating face pads and a good lotion. Each night, wipe your feet with the pads, put a thick layer of lotion on and then put a pair of cotton socks on overnight. Do this for 5-7 days on a row and you should have nice, soft and hydrated feet. After that you can usually maintain it with only 1-2 treatments a week.

I asked my Doctor that question and was told no. I found Gold Bond just came out with a diabetic lotion that seems to work well for me.

I love the "Carmex" brand of cream. It came out within the last year or two.
My doctor recommends it.
It is called "Carmex Healing Lotion". I get it from Walgreens.
It is not available as a prescription.
