Odd BG levels

I have the strangest of issues (or at least to me they are strange). When I get up in the mornings, my BG levels are kind of high (around 200) but they drop during the day. I am watching my carbs and trying to not eat too much with either sodium, fat or carbs. I have been trying to keep up with exercise daily (like my doctor advised me to), but I just don't understand why my numbers are high during the morning. Does anyone else seem to have this problem? :-(

Sounds like a classic case of Dawn Phenomenon or “Liver Dump”. It happens to everyone, but seems more pronounced in diabetics. Here’s some further reading:
Typically it’s your body’s way of keeping you from going hypo after an extended period without food (like overnight). Most of us found a higher protein snack right before bed helps this, and if you manage to get some decent control, it goes away.
