When my endo told me I was what he called a britttle diabetic I didn't think much of it. Tonight I get it. Dinner bolus hit me like a brick, dropped me from 240 to 72in 1.5 hours flat. Dizzy, nausea, just horrific! I have never felt that bad since diagnosed and hope I never feel it again.

Hope endo has some answers and solutions tomorrow, that was scary scary sucky bad!

I'm a brittle diabetic, type 1, too. My blood sugars are up, down, up, down everyday! My diabetes and endocrinologist had me wear a blood sugar sensor for a week, and when I saw the graph of my blood sugars for 24/7 over a week, what a mess that was! He adjusted my insulin and my Lantus and Humalog, giving me new guidelines for insulin to carb ratios. I hope your endocrinoligist has good solutions for you too!

Brittle is a roller coaster ride. Sorry to hear about your troubles. Keep glucose pills right on you for those lows. If you live alone get a security thing to hang around your neck for when you need help. Can't think what they are called now. You know the ""I've fallen and I can't get up" commercial.
