Hi, I will keep it simple , I have Diabetes Type 2, take insulin 2-3 times per day, I have hep c and cirrhosis of the liver also I have been suffering with bi polar disorder, these are the biggies, I have also recently fallen and tore my right knee ligaments, my left knee cartledge and fractured my right ankle (all of which I have to have 3 different operations) they are deciding if they are going to operate or wait until after my 2nd treatment for hep c is started and finished (I did 1 year of hep c treatment but it only killed 80%. Which has gone back up) my diabetes is out of control along with my weight 30lbs overweight, I am currently living overseas do not have someone to help me. Sometimes I get so so tired I have to lay down. I have 4 doctors all of which are Super, do not know what to do so many things I forget one or the other, any advise outside of taking myself out would be greatly appreciated

First thank you so much your advise really helps, it took me a while to respond (been very tired) you are right if I sit back and look at the whole picture I start to give up, but when I don't (which is hard to do when I am always sticking myself) then I feel better, I have a team of 4 Dr's, For my depression, liver, diabetes and the point Dr, they all communicate with each other. and I stay in contact with them. They are great and do everything to keep me around, the main thing now is I am so so tired went to my diabetic Dr today and he wants me to note everything, so I am going to do my best to take one step at a time. God bless and I hope we can stay in touch

one small thing at a time, day by day. I am so sorry for all that is happening I know it seems so bleak but you really can improve afraid I don't know anything about the liver problem, but I do hope you improve on all fronts, and that knee once it is better, things will get better . agree with alwaysknitting. please do that. keep us updated, bless you

NOTES!! Make NOTES. Always make notes of things in a little pocket book you can keep with you to take to your docs so you don't forget things. I still cannot stress enough about the write down what you eat, then wait 30 mins and then check your sugar to see what foods affect it. As for the other issues, as I believe in God, I offer prayer and God speed to your doctors and agree with alwaysknitting . . one day at a time one thing at a time and staying positive verses even THINKING of someone telling you to take yourself out is AWESOME! Find a good place with positive people . .whether a group, church, etc. and you will see the HUGE difference. Remember, the mind can be poison, but it also CAN BE CHANGED (speaking from experience)! :D

Thank you so much for the response, I do agree the mind can be poison as long as I stay out of mine most of the time I am ok.

Hi!! The first thing that comes to my mind is to TAKE ONE THING AT A TIME! Look at each piece of the puzzle instead of at the finished puzzle. Little bites are easier to chew!! Ask your Dr what needs to be done first. Any way all 4 Drs. Can get together? Do you have copies of all your records and labs to show to each Dr? Do they all realize what's going on with you? Are you taking your bi-polar meds? I don't know, but with all your problems, the unbalance could be keeping your BS high. Nearly everything you listed can cause stress & wacky BS. I would ask for a patient advocate to help coordinate care. The PA can act for you, talking to all 4 Drs & develop a treatment plan that's best for you.
Remember one step at a time!!
Please, make an appointment with your therapist. Explain to him/her all details of your health problems. Who knows maybe your therapist can act as your advocate. I don't know.
Please tell your therapist about your thoughts of suicide. Let him help you,.., that's what he'd there for. Besides, we need you!!
Hugs? Cathy
