What you should be doing is talking to your doctor. If you have access to health care, use it. My hands and feet are always cold. I have had this problem since birth it seems. It is a disorder and I can't remember the name of it. If you talked to your doctor, he/she would have by now told you what it was and what can be done for it. Make a list of questions for your doctor that includes your hands and feet being cold, how many carbs per meal you can have and requesting to speak with a nutritionist.

You should also sit down with a nutritionist who can help you plan meals, who may be able to provide you with a list of foods you can eat. The internet is also filled with nutritional information with list of foods you can eat. I found one that list all kinds of foods with their carbs. I used it when I was first diagnosed.

I have no idea why you are scared. It seems you have not educated yourself about foods you can eat. I always say until you take the initiative to learn about your disease, which includes foods you can eat, you will always have this problem.
