I HAVE FOUND AS OF LATE WHENEVER I HAVE A ARTHRITIS FLARE UP, MY SUGAR GOES ALL OVER THE MAP. i CONTINUE TO EAT THE SAME AND DO THE SAME THINGS, BUT IT JUST KEEP HAPPENING. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?

Why is it so hard to do blood sugars. I inject fine. But don't like to bother with blood sugar tests!

Whenever the body is under a stressful load (pain, illness, fight or flight), the liver pumps extra glucose into the blood for energy to fight the body's attacker. It can't tell that you don't need it to run away, only that something is wrong. So anyone under stress had this same reaction. Diabetics have the added fun of the body's inability to process it. You aren't doing anything wrong.
