I use either one or two canes when my arthritis acts up. I think in a way it is partially due to my diabetes because I have to limit the amount of pain killers I take due to the fact that some of the medications cause my sugar to be higher.

I sometimes use a cane, but not because of my diabeties. I have severe arthritis in my knees and if I am going to be on my feet alot, I will use the cane. There are two ladies who live in my building who use wheelchairs because of losing both their legs due to diabeties. I sometimes tend to feel quilty about complaining about my arthritic knees hurting when they are without legs.

Not yet but I do wear shoes tailored for me that I get through the VA because of the neuropathy in my extremities.

Yes, most of the time I use a cane. When I an out on uneven ground or going to a mall or some kind of event like a fair or something I use my walker that has a seat on it
