Today let's share our most memorable diabetes day. You can take this anywhere… you or your loved one's diagnosis, a bad low, a bad high, a big success, any day that you’d like to share.

My most memorable day, was my diagnoses, I don't know about anyone else, but when the doctor told me that I have diabetes is a day you don't forget.

I used to have a terrible time with my BS dropping without any notice. I wouldn't know it was too low until my lower back was cold on the inside. My lowest was 22. My husband was sitting across the room. I couldn't move. I couldn't speak. But I knew I needed help. My vision was fading in & out. I don't know how, but I was finally able to pick up the closest object, a paper cup filled with diet coke… I threw it at my Husband to get his attention. He ran to get juice & sugar to pull me out of it. I probably ate too much because I was so scared. I came out if it & rested for the remainder of the day. Now I test 5-8 times a day to make sure it never happens again. (My brother in law, a paramedic, said I should have called 911. I didn't think about it.)
