Can neuropathy somehow help lower blood sugar? I was having pain in my feet last night, and when I woke up my sugar level was 78. Also, I had pain on my hand yesterday morning, and I could feel myself shaky. I was eating my Lucky Charms though. Yes, I still eat that. But the thing is that my hand was hurting when I held anything. Even my spoon. But it stopped for the rest of the day.

No it doesn't help lower blood sugar … Your neuropathy is caused by uncontrolled high blood sugars etc … Talk to your doctor , I think she or he or they will concur with my opinion … Them again I might be wrong I'm not a doctor …

I have very bad neuropathy throught my body. I've had neuropathy for 10 yrs. but haven't noticed my blood sugar levels changing at all. They are usually rather low. It is very hard when you get it in your hands. I hope it doesn't really hit your hands. I think your blood sugar is related to how you eat.
