I do all of that too Debe but I also have a bone denisty test done yearly and a mamagram(I am high risk) plus an MRI because I have degenrating disc in my back to see what changes have occured. My eye exam is every 6 months because I have early signs of retinopathy. Oh I also go to the dentist for a cleaning. And do not forget a pap test(also high risk) I think I got them all. LOL

Thanks, I never had a bone density test that I know of(but probably did somewhere down the line), mammogram I do yearly cause of course I am over the age of 40(LOL). I am going to check into the bone density test. Is it an x-ray?

You lay on a table and this funny x-ray like machine passes over you and you are done. took about 10 minutes.

Have to have eyes, heart, and sugar plus thyroid checked yearly. Now they say eye exams should be every 6 months. PCP is every 3 months. HI Debe, Great Post;

Some of the things I do is:
* Visit my Eye MD for a dialated eye exam. I usalyy go 2X a year because of my Eye MD's request.
* I have my urine checked for protein(microalbumin screen)
* I have him do a blood test for serum creatinine.(these are test for my kidneys)
* have my fats checked( total cholesterol, LDL, LDH, and triglycerides)
* Also see my poditrist for a foot exam.
