I would like to wish all mothers, whether they are sisters, daughters, aunts, grandmothers, or great-grandmothers. A most wonderful day on Sunday.

If you would like to share what you or your family are doing this Sunday, that would be great.

May your day be filled with joy, this Sunday from your family.

I lost my mother over 18 years ago. But, I have a daughter and grand-daughters, that I will be spending the day with.

Mother Nature is celebrating with a Beautiful sunny, mild day..after a week of grey, rain off and on days, it is glorious here in PA.
Remembering my Mom, and 2 grandmothers, and a few special Aunts today, realizing how blessed we were to have grown up with both grandmothers within a block.
My two daughters, have both called, the oldest is married, a Mom to 3 boys, so the boys called me this morning, and our younger daughter, who lives in TN, sent me a Kindle Fire, for Mother's Day. So, I pretty much played on that most of the day! But, my husband and I will grill a steak, and eat here. I .don't much care for crowds. So it is nicer to stay in.
Hope you all have a beautiful day too!

Sadly, I lost my Mom 23 years ago to diabetes and CHF. However, I know she is up in heaven looking down on me! I don't have children but, my Husband does. Our one daughter and son-in-law are the best any Mother could have! They took me to dinner last night which was really great! This morning my Husband had placed a card on the table for me and it was so beautiful that it brought tears to my eyes! I am so blessed to have a family who care for me and but up with my "crazy moods" I get into sometimes. Happy Mother's Day to all!

Thank you for sharing part of your day with us. You have a very wonderful and thoughtful husband, and step-children, who really care about you.

I lost my mother over 25 yrs. ago but I still think of her on Mothers Day.
My daughter and son-in-law will be coming to church with me Sunday and then taking me out to eat. She also has a gift for me but I already know what it is (he-he). Just having them spend the day with me is a very nice gift, but I do like getting presents ;=)

Gave my Mom (aka The Cake Lady) a cake decorating and cake baking magazine for Mom's Day. A few of the cakes are over 140 grams of carb per serving. I almost wore gloves to protect myself while looking through it. Then I gifted myself with 1 too. Gives me a challenge to de-carbify a few of the cute designs.

Sounds wonderful. I used to be a cake decorator. If you do de-carbify those cakes, please do share. Hope your day goes wonderful.

Will do. I have been enjoying a brownie/cake made with almond flour and a little coconut flour as my work snack for the last week. I need to figure the carb count and decide which version I like best before I post it to the recipe section. Getting ready to make it for work tonight right now.

Can't wait for the recipe to show up in the recipe section. Thank you for thinking about us with these delicious recipes.

Last night's version was a tad dry…but it worked great crumbled up in a new variety of lemon yogurt I had for supper. Made a great fake bread pudding. Had to stop at the store after work to get another lemon yogurt to make it again for a picnic breakfast by the creek with my hubby.

I am fortunate to still have my mom, and now she's living back with me at home. I got her some of her favorite scented candles and a card of encouragement. I also have a girlie place that we call our girls day out place and we will be going there one day next week.

She is special, my rock and my friend.

You are very kind to think about all the moms and those who love children. My daughter and I are semi-estranged because she has drug and alcohol issues and lives 1000 miles away from me, as does my 91-year-old mother. My husband and I generally don't "celebrate" the day because every restaurant in our small town will be overflowing. I prefer to stay at home with him, our five cats and my crocheting. That is what makes me happy. I hope you enjoy the day also.

Thank you so much for your response. Not everyone cares to "celebrate" the day. It is a personal choice, which we all must respect.

Happy Mothers Day to you as we'll! I lost my mom 13 years ago and my dad 3 years ago. I don't have kids so I celebrate my sisters who have brought up some very beautiful souls and their kids have children as well.

Thank you.
I'm so sorry for your loss. What a wonderful idea to spend time with your sisters and their children. You could also reminisce about your mother and what she meant to you and your family.

So happy you have family to share with. I sure would like to get together with my sisters. We're scattered all over the country, so that would really take some doing!

Well my parents are visiting from out of state and are leaving Sat. morning to go back so my wife and I are doing her Mothers day tomorrow before they leave. Unfortunately my wife lost her Mother 9 yrs ago so its still hard for her this time of year because she lost her father less than a year after her mother. So Mothers day and Fathers day are rough for her. We miss them both immensely as I was very close to them as well. Good thing is she is very close to my parents as well so that helps to get her through both days.
