So I already know that bananas are pretty high in carbs and all that…but does that mean a diabetic should avoid them? I love bananas. I love them in smoothies, desserts, plain for breakfast, etc. They have a good hit of potassium, which is great, and I (a type 1 diabetic) can easily calculate and dose for them. Maybe I'm a terrible diabetic.
How about the rest of you? Type 1, Type 2, do you eat bananas?
