There are special shoes available for diabetics. Also wear cotton or wool socks and avoid synthetics which do not "breathe" as much as natural fibers. When at home, don't wear shoes.

Maybe it's time to go see a foot Dr. My Dr. sent me to a foot Dr. and they made me a pair of shoes and of course I wear diabetic socks. Try a foot Dr. let them know what is going on with your feet.

First do you keep you blood sugars from 80 to 130 with three shots a day ?
2nd do you eat a good bit of salt ?
For me if I don't keep my bs good my feet will start to hurt and if I eat to much salt they will get real red and sting.
Even if I soke them in salt water it only helps a little.
