Anyone here experience the palms of your hands getting extremely hot and red? I can't seem to figure out if this is due to diabetes or some other hormonal or vascular issue. Any similar experiences to share?

My dad always said that it was a sign of good circulation. I hate hot hands, and this has been going on since I was very young. Try 6 or 7. I wasn't diagnosed until I was 16, so I wouldn't think it was related.

I sometimes have the opposite problem: cold feet!
You should check with your doctor. it could be due to a number of things, including allergy to ingredients in the hand soap you use!
A number of people suffer rashes because they use too much fabric softener.

It might be related to diabetes it might not … I would suggest asking your health care provider ( doctor ) they would probably know more then us … We can share our personal experiences with you and that's about it … Another thing is not every ailment or ache and pain we have is related to the fact we have diabetes … People without diabetes suffer from ailments just like us …

I notice the itchy red palms as well, I thought just allergies. The pollen is up, and usually get a skin allergy around the spring time.

I get it in my palms & on my face/dcollet area. I think is related to my T2 bc it appears in evening, when my carb consumption is higher. I'm quite curious to read the responses.
