Hey Folks !!
I'm Daniel and I'm new to this site, but I've had Type II diabetes for 13 yrs. I'm currently participating in a clinical trial at UNC Hospital's Dept of Endocrinology and Diabetes Studies in Chapel Hill, NC. It's a study of the effects of the drug Byetta on insulin dependent diabetics. Things are goin very well for me at the moment and this drug seems to help me a LOT. The study has also helped me get control of an out of control situation with my disease, mainly because it provides me with all my meds and supplies. My main problem has always been keeping a supply of my heart meds AND my insulin. On my own with only a fixed income ( SS Disability), my disease was mostly out of control. NObamacare has NOT helped me one bit, but made things worse. The same for Medicare Part D. Its been kinda nice not having to struggle to find ways to get my insulin and supplies each month. I have been diagnosed with congestive heart failure too. I had a double bypass in 2007. I also battle with high cholesterol and back & leg pain. I'm a mess… but I'm usually in good spirits because I have God with me …ALWAYS. Hope YOU are well and in good spirits today.
God Bless and please send me a friend request if you like.

glad things are going well, and hope that continues. Having God in your life, the faith you have, is great!! I have that too. You have a great attitude.

Welcome to Obama's world ! I sure hope things get better but I really don't see it anytime in the near future.
The thing that gets me upset is that the ADA supported Obama in his election all the way !
Stay strong.

Thanks IronOre. I do know what you mean. NObamacare is nuthin but a nightmare to me and a LOT of other seniors with chronic illnesses. They want us all dead, I believe, to save them money.
