Can anybody tell me if you have tried this weight loss system? How do you compare to other plans? Would you recommend?

I dont like diets, they dont work. How many diets have you been on and satyed with the results? You need to sit down and ask yourself some hard questions. Its a life style change and thats really the only way. Unless you are morbidly obese and need surgery its a new mindset that is needed. We in America have a love hate relationship with our food. We eat to comfort ourselves and to fill us up. What ever happened to enjoying the art of making the foods we eat and sitting down to enjoy the fruit of our labors? We miss all the colors, tastes and smells of good food. If its not quick, and fattening its not worth our time. We eat out to places that cover our food in God knows what and say we are eating good. Please try another way. Read cookbooks, watch cooking shows. Watch and read from the people with the passion for food. Eat because you are hungry, sit down and enjoy every mouthfull. Pick out your fresh veggies from the market and enjoy the smells.Food can be exciting and there are so many different kinds and countries to discover it will never become boring. Try different spices and try something new every week. Throw nuts in the car so you will always have something on hand. Fast food isnt for healthy people so why put it in your body. Do you want to eat 3 or 4 meals a day. Make sure you are eating the correct amount of protien and count you carbs. Eat lots of veggies and drink your water. Please dont do all this and think you can sit down at a PC all day. Get out and walk, run, dance, swim. Pick one. you will be glad you did. YOur body will change and you will feel better. This is a choice you will have to make. Our bodies are our temple, we need to treat it as such.

This product is not good!!! Full of fillers and soy and lots of other bad things! It is also NOT a meal replacement!!!

If you want to use shakes as meal replacements I can whole heartedly recommend one. I have been using them twice a day (or more) since before I was diagnosed. And will always use them because it is all natural, superfood. Nothing chemical or engineered. No soy, low GI, gluten free, and there is kosher and vegan options as well. My endo approves as well as my nutritionist.
I know from experience that "normal" food shoots me thru the roof, so the shakes and bars make sense for me. Not to mention no cooking or dishes!!

I tried it and it messed my BG, but I'm type 1 with insulin resistance. It works differently for everyone. Talk to your nutritionist to make sure, because you're replacing a meal. I think it's different reaction for a type 2 or borderline diabetic. But not sure.
