Hi everyone!! When I first began the omnipod 4 months ago, I was told I had to put at least 75 units of insulin in each omnipod in order for it to work. I have noticed though that sometimes I will put maybe 65 units in it and it still works. Do I have to put so much insulin in each omnipod? Every time I switch pods, I throw away about 30 units of insulin. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated. Thanks! :)

That's a lot if insulin to be throwing away … I have a pump with the old fashioned tubing … Yeah tubing can be bothersome @ times but I'm just happy in that the pump works and has really helped me … I personally could not afford to be throwing away that much insulin …
