I am curious/ How long do you wait for your doctor? I know I have a treasure because if I have to wait more than 10 minutes, it is because I arrived early! Most of the time I get there 5 minutes before, sign in and they say "Go back to Room ___" The LPN comes in and weighs me, checks my meds list, does BP, pulse, and check with why I am there. So for me, it is no wait time to get into the exam room, no wait time for the nurse, and about 5 minutes before the doctor comes in. He usually spends about 20 minutes with me and makes sure everything has been covered. I bring him an updated med list each time, including current OTC, and on the bottom I list RX's that I need and specific issues. Okay, you are all jealous…good! ;) No, I am not going to tell you who mu doctor is because then you will all want to come to him!

wow, you are lucky and I am happy for you! no way with me. I have to wait a minimum of one hour, it is a large group of docs, I know mine personally, or used to, I grew up with her, she is a few yrs older. We went to the same school, same church, and were in the choir together, my parents were friends with her parents. I have to wait sometimes two weeks for an appt. if it is kind of more important, they try to see me sooner,. But I have waited 2 hours before going back many times. I hate it. When I do go back, I see the nurse of coure, then I have to wait at least a half hour on her, but she does take the time. Sometimes I think of looking for a new doc, because of always waiting so long, but nothing beats personally knowing your doctor I guess. She told me she did not think I had diabetes just before I was diagnosed, I asked straight out, this was after she'd done heart tests. So that has kind of lingered with me as well, and I was 35 - 40 lbs. overweight and she never told me I should lose weight and never warned me about D. I wish I had been warned, I would have worked hard to do what needed to be done. At one point, years before diagnosis, my blood pressure top number was getting to be 130 lots of times, and she talked to me about that.

Great Jim. But you gave us all a clue as to his ID. So, with a lot of google work we only have to check out all the he docs within, oh , I quess a 100 mile radius of the state you say you live. Know if I could only remember which state you live in. It is the state of confussion, right? :)
