If you are in a night out and decide to drink, what would you choose to not upset your readings ? Xx

According to what I've read and experienced, stay away from beer. A glass or 2 of dry wine is OK but straight spirits such as bourbon, scotch vodka are fine. Mixed drinks are not recommended at all.I am a wine taster and had to really learn to nurse any drinks I have

Vodka & Sprite Zero is a good drink as it is one of the lowest calorie alcoholic drink. I wouldn't normally give myself any insulin while drinking this drink. The only problem I've had while drinking this drink is the hangover the following day. Lol

I drink Woodford Reserve and Jose Cuervos. I drink the whiskey with diet pepsi and the tequila is a frozen strawberry margarita. I always eat something that is high in fiber or protein before and during the drink.

Bud light platinum is good. And so is captain Morgan's! CM is a fav! Diet sprite, captain, Ice and three strawberrys… Blend and yum!

So you drink light beer and captain morgans w/diet sprite? How's your sugar reading after you consume those drinks? I know everybody is different…I'm only curious.

It's ok. It only elevates it by about 20 points, and I only do it on occasion. I go out with my bestie every Friday night to sing and I usually have 2-3 bud light platinum. They are 4.4 carbs each I believe.

4.4 carbs…nice…I'm trying to find that drink that works well with diabetes…Merlot usually works but I'm tired of drinking that boring dry wine.

Do you have an alternate beer choice…I use to drink Coors light but for some reason I started liking Miller Lite..

I suggest low carb beer or something with diet soda or tonic no juice and no schnapps or anything sweet full of sugar…Try a capt morgan with diet coke not bad
