Oh this is so great. I like it so much. I like the bigger icons that are easier for me. I know I will have questions as I use it....so I'll be back.
Thanks guys so much!

Care to offer a "hint" what we might see >: >. Was/am a member of several sites that changed and quite literally died soon after them… hope there aren't too many bugs?

I have been through about 3 such changes since I have been coming to DC and for a while things were a bit rugged after the changeover, but the techs worked hard to tweak the site and got it working better.

Stuart, we are really crossing our fingers that we don't run into too many bugs but we will attend to them as quickly as we can if we do. As for a hint, the look is changing a bit and we are adding some great new features that I think everyone will love.

How about adding a spellchecker?

Lentyl 2013-04-16 22:38:52 -0500 Report

If you right click on the misspelled word a spellchecker comes up with the correct spelling. At least that's what my computer does.

jayabee52 2013-04-16 23:06:55 -0500 Report

If you are on a computer and you run a Chrome browser or a Firefox browser, the misspelled words have a wavy red line under them and you can right click on them and the browser suggests spellings for the misspelled word. You can then select the spelling you were intending.

The computer I am using is a common area computer in an apartment complex, so I am linited to Internet Explorer 7. (Drat!)

Thank you…
but I wasn't talking about me!
"Lose" weight is almost always "Loose" there are a lot of others here.
I know it's not mandatory to spell correctly, but it might be nice…

Spell check wouldn't help improve the mistake you cited. Maybe grammer check would. Since I have double vision and am dyslexic, my spelling sucks. Other times my smartphone keys are tricky to get a little touchy. Then there is also the "darn I like so totally triple checked my post before hitting the reply button, how did that misteak get in there." Oops need to edit those two, too.

And with my smartphone both the new and old format page reply box only shows a tiny dialog box. No matter how long I try, it seems impossible to get the cursor lined up with what needs edited.
