I would like to ask all of you to remember in your prayers all those at the Boston Marathon who died, (thus far 2 have died either of their injuries or immediately after the bombs went off), or were injured, and their families during their time of need! One of the victims killed by the bomb was an 8 year old child! My own children have many friends in Boston either running or cheering the runners on. Please pray for their safety! And finally, pray for those who are working to help the victims, and find who was or were responsible for this tragedy, so that they can be punished to the full extent of the law!

To All Bostonians, their families and friends..prayers and thoughts are with each and every one of you. Love your State, my son was accepted at BU. He went to NYU, but loved visiting. On your celebratory Patriot Day..all dressed up..and each runner with his/her reason for participating, the crowds cheering…our hearts are with you. And yes, Kathy..praying for those who are with the victims and the law enforcement to find the party responsible for such a tragedy.

A few days after the Aurora Theater shootings I met one of the first responder EMTs. He was so shaken by what had happend. My niece and nephew have spent lots of time since that night when he was at the theater, helping victims families and survivors. My niece has shared a little about how many lifes were hurt by the actions of one person.
The Bombing will impact so many more, I thank God we can unite and pray for His healing of those who have been damaged physically and emotionally.

Thank you. As I had mentioned yesterday friends of my children were there, one was only a block away. When my kids heard about the bombing, they immediately became concerned and tried to reach them, or other friends to see if anyone had heard how they were doing.

I was born in Boston and spent many years during my childhood, taking the T into the City to shop with my mother, grandmother and my aunt. My parents have taken me to watch the marathon (back then it was only a fraction of the crowd that you see nowadays). My oldest son had volunteered for a few of the marathons in Boston as part of his Sports Management classes. As a child i also went to watch the Head of the Charles Regatta and nowadays that also draws huge crowds. Both my daughter and my second oldest son have raced in the Head of the Charles 9my son still races in it).

So when something like this bombing occurs in a place where you have spent so much time there growing up (I also had lived in Boston for 5+ years, as well as staying with my grandmother during my school vacations and a couple of weeks during the summer), it really hits too close to home!!!

So I really do appreciate the prayers that are going out to the families and friends, and the victims (both dead or injured) during these days, weeks, months, or even years of healing!!!!!!

There was a family of 5 at the Boston Marathon. One was an 8 year old boy who was killed. His 6 year old sister is in serious condition after losing a limb. And their mother is in serious condition with head injuries! How much more does this poor family have to suffer?????
