I was just diagnosed as a LADA diabetic (I am 26). I still have functioning beta cells. Are there any pills/supplements to save my remaining cells and keep them from being killed off?

I'm in a similar boat as you. I haven't come across any supplements designed to preserve their function but I do believe simply maintaining good blood sugar control will do as much to preserve the remaining cells health as anything. In trying to give mine as much of a vacation as possible. :) hope you are feeling well

I did a Google search on "saving beta cells" and got this response here ~

Another possibility has to do with a blood pressure medication and the article on that may be found here ~

This was found in another search ~

Unfortunately those therapies are still some time in the future.

That does not help you NOW, unfortunately.

Praying for your improving health!
