I was just wondering if anyone knew if there were Diabetic Jelly
Beans! I was suprized that my husband bought me my favorite Star Burst Jelly Beans! I ate some, and it shot my numbers up sky high. So no more of those! I am guilty of that! I hope everyone had a good Easter. Ours was, and the church service was great. For lunch we had something different, a good homemade, chicken pot pie!

Just because it says Sugar free doesn't mean it is read labels ingrediants . Hidden types of sugar corn syrup. Is a big one I can't use Splenda but I can use stevia in the raw

Eating too much of any "Sugar-free" candy is guaranteed to cause some sort of gastric distress. (It's the effect of all those sugar-alcohols used instead of sugar. I learned that in my early days with diabetes in the 1970's. In my case, it was not very fragrant flatulence…in others, it might be diarrhea or stomach cramps. Needless to say, I don't eat much of that any more since I like to be around people and I like to have people be around me!

I think all jelly beans are diabetic...they have high sugar. LOL

Seriously, I have not seen sugar free ones. I would not eat sugar free ones anyway. I buy the Jelly Bellies and just make sure I only eat a few. I like those because they have so many flavors, you can only eat one at a time. That helps me control how many I eat.

Hi. You might look at Russel stovers website,
They have some sugar free items. Thought
I saw some SF jelly bean Easter eggs. Although like
Everyone else, sometimes they use sugar alcohol.
Just need to read. Good luck.

I have tried them (sugar free jelly bellies) and I was NOT impressed. I much would rather limit my portions on the real jelly bellies.

Anything that is sugar free most of it is not carb friendly always check the nutrition facts on back of the products.

Why did you have to post that link...now I have spent at least 10 minutes trying to decide what Jelly Belly package to buy? LOL! They only have 4 calories per bean...am I justifying it yet?

Of course, if you order the dirt, earth worm, ear wax, boogers and black pepper jelly beans, you might not have any trouble passing them up.

OMG!!! After reading those flavors, who would want to eat anything LOL LOL .. If I want any type of candy it is usually real, and very small and limited quantity. I also saw sugar free peeps at CVS at Easter. Come on, Peeps is Pure Sugar.. What would it be made of if not sugar? I have chewable Gummy vitamins and they are my sweet every morning.. Have a great day everyone..

Except the chocolate dairy-free" ice cream in one of the diabetics' cookbooks! Go to the recipe column and I will post it!

Oh no, James, you are an anti-peeper!!! I was so pro-peeper, they were way better than marshmallows. Sigh, no more peeping. Was just at the store and was a little down when I saw the stacks of 50% off peeps.

Actually, after reading the warning on them about causing stomach distress or a laxative effect, I'll have no trouble passing them up.

i have tried them and I was NOT impressed. They are nothing like the real jelly bellies. I would rather eat them using portion control and enjoy the "real" flavors themselves.

I don't think you need to justify it. However you may need to experience it for yourself
