To all my diabetic type 1 & diabetic type2 friends I have question for u all are we all taking the same types of meds?

I am taking : Levemir Flexipen , Losartan Postassium, Glipizide-Metformin, Furosemide, Carvedilol,Crestor, Clopidogrel, & aspirin . Tinkerbell54

I take Gillempride x2 . I take Lantus shots. And I take Victoza 1.2 daily. And Humalog Prn. I also take Atacand. I also take Aspirin daily.

The only medication I have to take on a regular basis is 500mg per day. Other than diabetes, I have no other medical problems.

As little as I HAVE TO. Right now getting iron shots and liquid Zemplar (parathyroid med) with my dialysis treatments. I take a Rx vitamin called "vital D" which is for kidney patients.

One of the things I learned is that many vitamins are cleared through the kidneys and when they are not working properly the excess vitamins are not cleared well. Somehow the excess vitamins in Vital D are cleared through the liver, so not so much work for the kidneys.
