Last weekend my sweet and generous husband husband came down with a cold. He was kind enough to share it with me…:oP I haven't had a cold or the flu for over 3 years now. I think that's a pretty good record.
My question is this. Any other time I've been sick like this my blood sugar as always been at least a little elevated. This time I've had a heck of a time keeping it up to even normal. Since Saturday night I wake up every single night shaking, sweating, visual disturbances and the usual suspects. It's nearly 2 am and I just woke up with a blood sugar of 47! Has anyone else had this type of experience?

My son had his first cold last since being diagnosed and his were on a roller coaster. He had **a lot** of lows but I assumed they were from over correcting his outrageous highs. (normally we don't over correct since he has a pump-we let it do the math) So sorry no useful input but now u have my curious wheels turning :)

Yes, I hit lows when I'm sick, because I don't eat very much. I keep my blood glucose Machine and juice boxes next to my bed.
