well dear, i guess sometimes the others just get a little long and we move on to more space. ,and it is a wonderful thing to be able to have so many different people to talk to,and so many topics to discuss. it keeps me saner to talk about just things sometimes! life is a joy in all of its lovely forms. i am a little odd myself, but this oddball loves you! just let me!

Don't we have other discussions about this already " Like what do you like about this site?" Why are we stating things over and over again. Is it a monthly thing? One discussions topic a month? I just do not understand all these odd posts lately? I love this site for all the information, recipes, videos and articles. I do not like all the other stuff.

Several people on here just seem to like to perpetuate discord and upheaval. Not sure why. If everyone would just forget and ignore all the silly argumentative posts that have been made, they would (hopefully) just go away. For whatever reason, there are some that need this type high school drama, which is, of course, of no good to anyone.

i like the information i get, the emotional support, hearing different opinons about other things. diabetes and all that is related to it is always there staring me in the face. i may be wrong for this, but sometimes i enjoy talking with others about just plain silly things! it relives the stress. i hope no one becomes offended with my strange sense of humour! it is part of who i am. i have finally accepted it. life is full of surprises ! i like the the veggie tells silly songs by larry!

I agree with you highlandcitygirl. I too have a big sense of humor and have been creating threads that are silly. I seem to be the only one doing that. Am I out of line? Why don't other people do it too? If people are having problems with their diabetes then they may not want to see silly threads/posts. i cannot decide what is appropriate.

well i forgot to be silly for awhile, what with all the saying we shouldn't post ,other than strickly diabetes information, my self went into a deep dive! when people tell me their problems it doesn't bring me down, i want to help them! no ,what took me down was the thought that i had done something wrong! sorry! not everyone had a wonderful childhood and even though it is in the past sometimes certain things come back and bite you in the butt! i never could do anything right! so when i started seeing all the disagreements i was sure it was my fault somehow! the wolf that fed is sometimes fed by uncontrolable emotions. i have tried to kill my emotions for years! i have no intentrion of offin' myself, i don't encourage anyone to do that! i hope that in my swallin' i didn't bring someone else down.

The only ones that hurt people me mostly are the ones that posted anonymously the rude and hurtful remarks.
