Excellent info, and very helpful for me personally! I have had 3 EUS and biopsies of cysts on my pancreas. My sister was inadvertently found to have pancreatic cancer, and died within months of the diagnoses. Same thing with my first cousin. I was found to have cysts on my pancreas about 3 years ago, and have developed 3 more since. No symptoms of any kind, no cancer so far, and no explanation. I'm being watched by doctors at Duke hospital, and waiting for the results of my last biopsy.

I read this today in my email, boy is that troubling. The more troubling thing is that the doctors are more eager to use these drugs because they don't cause heart troubles. I don't think the risks are good either way. It is a very hard decision we face.

Watching my dad die of pancreatic cancer makes me fear the latter more than the former. I guess it is a point of perspective.
