I am not sure where to write this and I am T2 so I chose to write here.

I am having seizures again after being seizure free for about a year. (unless I have had any in my sleep). My muscles and bones hurt so bad due to their workout. I am not used to that kind of workout. In years past, when I had lots of seizures all the time, my muscles would hurt but they were better developed then and could take the action better. I was much younger then too. I do not know what is causing them to start up again, but I can tell you, I dont like it…again!

It might feel ridiculous (sp?), but do you wear a helmet? Several people have been in the news lately and had concussions from falling. Take care. Liquorish

My doc says no helmet at this time. I am glad because they are hot, make my head sweat and ache, and ppl are really rude about staring. Even some adults.

Thank you everyone for your support. I had another drop seizure again today. I dont get a warning for them and they are just as they sound. All of me drops from standing to the floor or concrete and then I have a full blown seizure. My neurologist is working with my meds.

I am so sorry to read that you are having seizure problems again. Does the medical team who will be doing the bypass surgery know that this is happening again. God bless you Turtle as you struggle with an additiional difficulty.

Thank you. My neurologist increased 3 of my meds. and it stopped the seizures. I was in the hospital in March for a week then rehab. for a week.

I am so sorry to learn that Turtle. I have no idea what that could be like, but for me I think it would be frightening. And just when you were improving your life greatly.

Have you talked with your medical people about how this resurfaced wrinkle will affect your gastric surgery plans?

Turtle 2013-06-08 00:37:01 -0500 Report

Right now, my surgery has been put off until Sept.
It happened because the Dr. was taking me off one of my seizure meds. slowly, when my dad passed in March it added stress to seizures that apparently were brewing so without the med. there at the dose I needed, I went into seizures.
