Can someone tell me how to use this site? I can't always save a recipe to favorites. Some recipes say "see note" or "see variations", but I can't find them. Please HELP!!!

Hi DebiP7,

I save things like recipes, news articles, etc. into documents. At the web page, I hold my left mouse button down & drag it over whatever I want to copy. My computer turns all that blue. Let go of the left mouse button & it stays "selected " - blue color.

Then to copy, I usually press the Ctrl & C keys simultaneously for copy OR you hold the right mouse button and open a pop up with the "copy" option & click on that with your left mouse button. Then I go to my desktop and to "Documents." In "Documents" press the right mouse button and in the popup that appears, left click on Microsoft Word document or text document & the new document is created. Left button click on the "computer given" name "new document" & type in the name of your choice. Open your new document with a double left click and either simultaneously press Ctrl & V to paste or press your right mouse button and use the "paste" option in the popup.

When you said "favorites" were you referring to a favorites section within a browser? I wouldn't save recipes in my Chrome browser. Favorites to me means a link to some web site. Regarding "see note" or "see variations", I didn't see any of those. Were they possibly links that you could navigate by a single left click?

I hope this is what you wanted and it helps.

Thanks Tony. You were very helpful and I will def use your method in the future. But, I was referring to the "favorites" at the bottom of the receipt. I have figured it out. When I go on my profile I can access my favorites.

If you are referring to "favorites" as your favorite discussions, You can click "track" on a discussuon which you'd like to follow. Then it will show up in your profile link as a number when someone responds on that discussion.
