Talk to your doctor about a doppler study to find out if you have incompatible perforators. I had the test done and accepted the surgical procedure called a Linton Procedure. It worked for me. My left leg is NLD free

Howdy Lady J

Yes I have NLD. A mild case on my right shin where I had injured myself at age 14. That never quite healed properly and now I have this. I think I also have a small patch starting on my left shin as well. I don't wear shorts in public because of this.

for those of us who don't know what NLD is, you may find a picture here ~ http://www.medicinenet.com/image-collection/n...

An article on NLD may be found here ~ http://www.diabetescare.net/content_detail.as...

Hi jayabee I have a severe case of NLD on 90% on my body, my arms, stomach and all of my lower extremities. My legs are covered. I had bilateral skin grafts done almost 3 years ago and unfortunately the grafts on my left leg are reopening again.
