Hello, My name is Sandra. I have type 2, but I have to take insulin as well, along with a pill. I use the pin,and never have a problem.I give my shot in the Belly and I don't jab myself, I gently press it into my Belly, there is no pain. Try that.

They are working on an insulin nose spray right now. I did not qualify for that study because my A1c was too low so there is hope right around the corner!

I don't know your dosing symptoms or what bothers you the worse, but I switched to the ultra fine nano needles which don't even require a pinch in most injection spots. That helped a lot for me as I take 5 shots daily as well. Of course rotate your injection spots very regularly and hang in there!

I've only used the pen but it just seems soooo much better than having to use syringes and vials…and keep everything cool. We travel alot. I can't even imagine not having the pen.

They r working on creating a pill form of insulin … I think they may have or are working on a insulin you could inhale like a nasal spray … Are you using syringes ??? If so have you looked into pens ??? Pens really aren't too bad … I used to use them …
