I TAKE APHIDRA DURING LUNCH AND DINNER AND I TAKE 16 UNITS OF LANTUS BEFORE BEDTIME. SO WHEN I WAKE UP IN THE MORNING TO CHECK MY BLOOD SUGAR IT'S NOT TO HIGH. AND I DON'T HAVE A PROBLEM TAKING LANTUS I BEEN TAKING LANTUS OVER A YEAR NOW. MY FIRST INSULIN ARE NOVOLOG AND HUMOLOG. I HAVE TO CHANGE IT CUZ EVERY TIME I GIVE MY SELF A SHOT I GET ITCHY AND BRUISES. NOW APHIDRA AND LANTUS WORKS FOR ME.

I have used an A1c converter by Pancreum. It allows me to see where my A1c stands at any given time. I also use dLife app to track my numbers. The app gives me a 7 , 14, 30 and 90 day average. I use those numbers to plug into the converter and it gives me a A1c number for that time period. From my lab tests, it has Benny within .1 of the number the labs give me. It is also helpful when I read about people from other countries that use a different scale. It coverts their numbers tongue American equivalent.

I gave up on apps. Too time consuming for me. The only app I now use is Calorie King and I am about to delete it. It is getting to be too time consuming also.
