I saw my endo on Monday and while the test results were not great I'm happy to finally be on the road to feeling better. So my A1c came back as 13.9 (Yikes) and I apparantly flunked the T2 test. So I am definately a T1 diabetic and am now on insulin before every meal and then before I go to bed. In the past couple of days my blood sugar has started to move in the right direction and now that I am off of the medication I am starting to feel better!! Thanks everyone for all the support and I'm sure I will have lots more questions in the near future!!

Knowing is always better than guessing. It is where you started and as things improve, it will be great to share how you have improved. I'm just glad you are diagnosed correctly now and know what you have to do.

Hi Maggs, knowing is better than not knowing, when I was first diagnosed with D in hospital they said T2,then after extensive tests turned out I am a T1! So now that you definitely know, take care and DC will be a go to place like it has been for me!

Kinda a mixed result Maggs! But you seem headed in the right direction. Questions? Please fire away!
