Hi everyone, just wanted to let you know that my husband was in the hospital with chest pain. He stayed for observation, and was released to home. The Dr. said he had a mild heart attack. It happened after an inncident at his job. Where it caused him to have to leave work, come home, so I can take him to the E.R…After a night of tests, they confirmed that his enzymes were up. But not enough for a full fledged heart attack. Mild. The Dr. released him to home and off work until tomorrow or Thursday. He is waiting for the return to work papers from his Dr. That is why I haven't been on all week. Hopefully I can spend more time on here reading discussions, and seeing what you all are up to.

Your husband may need to be on a "triglyceride diet" to hedge off future heart problems. Doctors are horrible in prescribing this until things are bad. Its a healthy way of eating so nothing wrong with being on one.
You can look up on the internet what it entails. Its a combination of things that help prevent blockage in the arteries and help with enzyme levels. I worked 7 years in Cardiology so thats why I am suggesting this. I am glad he is alright and let us know how he is and yourself too. Much Love Christy

Well Anna I have been trying to get an EKG done so I could get cleared to go on dialysis. I ended up in the ER and waited about 18 hours there. I thought for a time they were going to keep me and move me to a med/surg floor and perhaps do a dialysis treatment, but it was flu season and the ER was SLAMMED so that was the reason for the long wait.

I did, however, get my EKG and now am faxing it to my kidney Dr so we can set up the dialysis treatment appointments.

That is what I have been doing the last 24 hrs

James

You poor guy. Those are long hours of waiting in the ER. It is bad here to. But luckily the ER that day was slow for us. He got the attention he needed. He was out after all the tests were completed. The Dr. okayed his release. Hope you do well on your dialysis though. Be praying for you.

yes I am OK. I have a bit of a "frog" in my throat. But now seems to be going away. I keep taking my vit D 3 (5000 iu) and praying I don't get flu.

Have you gone to the bottom of the page where it says "feedback" and report the glitch? That alerts the Techs to problems like you are having.
