Did any one hear that carrot juice helps lower your blood sugar ???

Well I did buy some on yesterday.

Carrots themselves are high in sugar, and then take the fiber out of the carrot as is done with carrot juice (which tends to buffer the sugars in the carrot,) you have a recipe for high Blood Glucose (BG) levels. So NO it is not as bad for you as candy, but there are much better veggies to juice.

It will raise your blood sugar … Look @ carb content … Yes it is also high on glycemic index …

never heard that, carrots are higher in sugar than many other veggies, most diabetics have to be very careful how much they eat. it is higher on the glycemic index is all I know.
