I am looking for a multi-vitamin without iodine. I am very allergic to shellfish and have been advised to stay away from iodine but it is very difficult to find an OC without iodine. I've been taking One-A-Day Women's but they are so big they are very difficult to swallow. Anyone have any ideas?

I am also allergic to iodine, shell fish, fish ect..
We get our vitamins from New Horizons’; at least I think that is what the name is. When I have the chance I will look it up. We can order over the phone, by e-mail or pick it up in person. I think they have locations everywhere. They do not contain iodine.

I'm going to have to agree with caragypsy. My doctor even told me about the applesauce. It is so easy to do that way. If you want to keep the carbs low, go to a health food store and get some of their low carb applesauce. I keep some on the shelf for whenever needed.

You can also freeze applesauce. I put what I don't use for the odd pill in ice trays and take out a few cubes to thaw when I need it.

Thanks, same as with caragypsy, I never thought of that and I love applesauce and buy the diet ones. I'm also going to try freezing what is left over.

Cut the pills in half if you find no alternative?

Thanks, I've tried that but they break so unevenly that they scratch my throat . I know its not a big problem, just trying to make my life a little easier.
Thanks for your reply.
