Meter Replacement Batteries
I'm still reasonably new to this condition, at least new enough to still using the first batteries that came with my meter. Are replacement batteries reasonably easy to locate? Do you get them at a pharmacy or department store like Target?
I have a backup meter that I am using and I have opened the meter to see what replacement batteries I need. I'm just curious whether they are readily available or need to be mail ordered.
Thank you

They can be found all over and never over $ 5 in my experience as a 11 years as a diabetic … I don't think u will have problems finding or affording them … You might even call your meter company say u need new meter and they will often send you one free …
Thank you. You're right, they're affordable and easy to replace.
I appreciate the response.
Those big "button" batteries last quite a long time. I found when I needed them, I could find them in the battery section of most pharmacies.
There are those meters which use two AAA batteries I dont use a meter like those so I don't know their power consumption.
But thhe big button batteries are by far the most common.

Depends on the battery. Mine is a common button battery I can get at a home improvement store. Batteries Plus has everything you need but expensive. walmart should have it in the watch section.
