Hi, just wondering what your routine is before bed in regards to eating or testing through the night. It would be interesting to know what others do. I normally have a snack if blow 8, I'm on insulin pens not a pump.

Note to us in the USA; Kyle's "8" is measured in mmol/l and is not low, 8 mmol/l = 144 mg/dl see the converter here ~ http://www.onlineconversion.com/blood_sugar.htm

Kyle, you follow the same suggestion which my GP told me when I was complaining of "liver dumps" and waking up high in the morning. In my case he suggested a snack if my Blood Glucose (BG) was below 135 mg/dl (7.5 mmol/l). He suggested I eat a snack with a protein and complex carb pairing. It worked well for me. No early AM highs.
