Hi, Janie :) Thank you. I found this site yesterday and I love it, it seems to be really helpful. And I hope to find many tips from people who have more experience than me :)

you're welcome luv.

I am unable to dance because I cannot expend much energy due to my need for dialysis. (working on getting on dialysis as we speak)

I used to like to do many styles of dances, square, Contra, English country, east coast swing, west coast swing, single time swing, Polka, Waltz, Schottishe. Troika. I loved to dance and once my blood vessels are clear from the toxic sludge my kidneys are leaving in my bloodstream I expect to get my energy back and start dancing once again. (if I exert my self too much now, I get nausea and start with the vomiting — not fun for my partner nor for me).

I pray I can start dancing again after my toxic load is gone from my blood!

I would love to stay away from stressful situations, however my job is very stressful. I did at the beginning of this month decided that I am not working any more overtime. I have asked for help but I was told to use my time wisely, hum well I do collections and when you spend most of the day on the phone talking to past residents time just seems to slip away. So I asked my doctor for a referral to take this stress management series and she approved it so I start next Thursday for the next 9 weeks. I am really excited about it.

Im working getting my A1c to that level..I'm in the 7.0 how can I drop it to your level..I was in the 5.0 levels but stress has raised it up..any tips would take any.

really Luv, there IS a way to get your A1c down into the 5s, but I won't tell you simply because it is so very DANGEROUS to do. I wouldn't want you to go so Hypo (Low) that you would have a chance of waking up DEAD.

Just reduce your carbohydrate intake and let you A1c come down naturally within the 90 days required.

And also, stay our of stressful situations. (yeah,I know, easier said . . . .)

An H1c of 5.4 is great. Keep up that good work and share with us what you do to make managing your diabetes so successful.

It sounds like you are loved and supported by your husband, the carb policeman. It shows in your 5.4 fabulous number. Tell us more about you in the about me of your profile. We will get to know you and you will get to know us. Welcome!
