Hi everyone,

Sorry I have been away for so long. Aug 20, 2012 I was diagnoised with stage 4 cancer, no lymph node envolement. I received radiation treatments for 7 weeks and 3 chemo treatments. As of right now, I'm cancer free but am just starting to get back to normal. My type 2 diabeties diagnoisis is still being looked at by my new doctors. I have a new PCM along with 3 different cancer doctors. I have also had to under go treatment for glaucoma and for a kidney problem. When it rained , it poured. So as you can see I have had a lot to deal with. I didn't mean to ignore anyone. Hope everyone else has had a better time than I have.

Good to see things are looking better and you are handling it as best you can. Don't stop fighting!

Thanks Nick. Not fighting is not an option. I've beaten it so far I plan on beating it for many years to come.

I am very sorry to hear of the cancer. I am glad you are over all those nasty treatments, I know they are rough. I watched some loved ones go through that. I have a friend right now, going through her last chemo treatments, for lymphoma she is going to be okay they say it is curable and another friend is over her colon cancer. Glad you are cancer free now, and I sincerely hope and pray that you stay that way! welcome back!

Thanks tabby. Sorry about your friends. Tell them not to give up. Miracles can happen. Being stage 4 I should not have been able to beat it as quickly as I did. But if I can than so can others.

Howdy RJ! I am glad you are now cancer free! AS far as what has been going on for me, I am slipping closer and closer to needing Hemodialysis and right now I am (as I tell folks) pumping toxic sludge through my blood vessels. That is my biggest problem right now. What kind of kidney problem do you have?

Welcome back!

Not sure what they called it. My right kidney wasn't working as effectively as they would have liked it to, so after having a tube run between that kidney and the bladder for more than a month, they put a stint in and all has been working right since. Sorry to hear about your problem jayabee, hope all works out for you.

Well I go to the renal specialist tomorrow (July 23) to find out whether I am going to need dialysis immediately or whether I have enough filtering function left to put off the dialysis for a while. The way I am feeling, (nausea, vomiting, nasal discharge, not wanting to eat) I suspect it will be sooner rather than later.
