Just because you can see what people look like on the outside, people label people! Stop! It's what counts on the inside that matters!

Anna unfortunately labeling or judging others isn't going to stop. This behavior usually starts at a young age. The kid who made fun of others in school, the teen who in an effort to be funny called classmates names, the college student who continued the same behavior. These are the people who got older but never grew up. They are immature and odds are they will always be that way.

Any number of things can cause weight gain. To say someone disrespects their body because they are over weight is simply ignorant. What I liked was the response that stated if weight was the cause of diabetes, every overweight person would be diabetic.

There are also the people who hate being diabetic. They are so caught up in the hatred they don't take care of themselves. They start making excuses and blame their spouses for not helping, their parents for not listening, the doctor is wrong. They put the blame on everyone else but themselves. They are so filled with negativity they have lost who they really are.

These are followed by people who don't take responsibility for their health care. They need someone to remind them to take their meds, eat properly or to test. If you don't need someone to tell you to get up in the morning, get dressed, go to work, come home, to go shopping or to do other things, you don't need someone to take on the responsibility to tell you to take care of your health.

Anna don't let these kinds of people get to you, they are not going to stop judging people until someone judges them in a manner they won't like. Then again that may not stop them because they are either too immature to accept what they are doing is wrong or they simply don't care that their judgement of others hurts them the most. When you spend your time judging others, it makes you look bad and lowers your standards as a person.

I'm a bit over weight and I'm working on it though … People r somewhat prejudiced against people that r overweight . That being said u will hear negative comments like oh you're a fatty that's why u got diabetes … It just shows the ignorance of the person making the statement … I know fat jokes etc … Still hurt , I don't like em , don't think anyone does … Like I said before it isn't gonna stop …

I know what your saying. Sometimes they don't have to say a word. You can tell what they are thinking by their looks.

This morning I read a post on someone talking about people being over weight don't care about being over weight. That is why I put that up there.

Anna sometimes you have to get something off your chest. I saw the discussion and I was amazed that anyone would say that.
